Jenny Guyton Joins The Health Management Academy and Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe
as Managing Director of Health System Investments

Arlington, VA, July 13, 2021 – The Health Management Academy (The Academy), a member-based organization that provides research, knowledge sharing, and leadership training to health systems and healthcare executives, announced today that Jenny Guyton has joined the company as Managing Director of Health System Investments.

In this role, Ms. Guyton will leverage her relationships across healthcare to help The Academy’s health system members assess new potential investment strategies, funding sources, and partnerships. In this capacity, she will work closely with The Academy’s strategic partner Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, a leading private equity firm focused exclusively on the healthcare and technology industries.

Previously, Ms. Guyton worked as an investor at Health Velocity Capital, in M&A and new product development at The Advisory Board Company, and in the investment banking division of Raymond James. She completed a BA at Yale University and an MBA at The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, where she was awarded the Howard E. Mitchell Fellowship.
