On April 18, the Health Resources and Services Administration finalized a rule to overhaul the 340B program’s dispute resolution process.
HHS originally created the dispute resolution process in a 2020 final rule. The pharmaceutical lobby PhRMA sued to challenge the rule in January 2021, citing an allegedly “biased process.” A federal judge paused the lawsuit last year after HRSA said it planned to make changes.
