This week we mourn the passing of President Jimmy Carter, 39th President of the United States and 2002 Nobel Peace Prize laureate. President Carter’s legacy is one of humanity and devotion – to peace, his country, and his family. After serving his single term, President Carter established the Carter Center with his beloved wife, former First Lady Rosalynn Carter, and dedicated his life to its mission, traveling the world as a humanitarian. Our thoughts are with the Carter family, and we are thankful for President Carter’s lifetime of service.
