On May 14, U.S. News and World Report—known for its influential rankings of colleges, graduate schools, and hospitals—released its inaugural ratings of the best ambulatory surgeries centers across the country. In partnership with the healthcare analytics firm CareJourney, U.S. News evaluated nearly 5K freestanding surgery centers across four specialty areas: colonoscopy and endoscopy; ophthalmology; orthopedics and spine; and urology.
