It’s one of the largest primary care deals since CVS’s $10B acquisition of Oak Street in 2023, and potentially a sign that payviders are ready to rebound despite reimbursement setbacks.
It’s a bold bet for Humana, which is projected to become the nation’s largest MA insurer by the end of the year. While the deal’s exact terms were not disclosed, analysts said the care network’s valuation was roughly $1B when talks began.
