  3. Opportunities for industry partners to support health system initiatives

Below are five recommendations for industry partners on how to Support LHS environmental sustainability goals:

  1. Transparency & Goals: Demonstrate awareness of your own environmental impact, including supply chain emissions and goals for improvement. Having a defined roadmap for sustainability strengthens your position.

  2. Partner for ESG: Showcase how your solution supports the LHS's emissions reduction goals and educate them on optimizing their own sustainability strategies (including cost benefits).

  3. Tailor Sustainability Messaging: Adapt your language to the LHS's existing sustainability efforts. Use terms like "energy efficiency" for those less focused on climate change.

  4. Sustainability's Broader Benefits: Position your solution as supporting cost management, talent recruitment, and overhead reduction - key priorities for LHS.

  5. Downtime Resilience: For vulnerable regions, emphasize how your solution operates during climate-related outages. Consider building offline functionalities as a back-up for healthcare systems in high-risk areas.
