The Health Management Academy’s (THMA) Chief Information Officer (CIO) Forum brings together health system CIOs and select industry leaders for candid discussions on topics ranging from technology innovation and digital health strategies to cybersecurity and potential regulatory changes. THMA’s CIO Forum curates a unique event experience designed to foster meaningful connections, exchange ideas, and build new partnerships.

THMA’s CIO Forum gathers twice each year - once in Spring and once in Fall - for an immersive, retreat-style event. The CIO Forum is opening space for additional industry members. We are seeking industry members who can bring important thought leadership and ideas to drive health forward.

From Cost Center to Value Creator: CIOs and CFOs shared strategies for repositioning IT as a strategic driver of business value. Discussions focused on resource allocation frameworks, building executive buy-in, and developing performance metrics that translate technology investments into measurable outcomes.

The Chief Information Officer Forum Experience

The CIO Forum is a 2.5-day, member-driven experience that brings together health system CIOs and select industry leaders to explore bold strategies, emerging technologies, and system-wide transformation.
