Agenda topics will include:

  • Washington Policy & Regulatory Update: What Leading Health Systems Need to Know: The Health Management Academy's Managing Director of Health Policy and Strategy, Ross Airington, will provide an up-to-the-minute briefing on how the new administration and 119th Congress is shaping the future of healthcare policy including payment reform, Medicaid changes, site-neutral payments, and the broader regulatory environment. He will break down critical 'need to know' details to keep healthcare leaders up-to-speed on changes and the long-term implications.

  • Issues Forum: CMS Program Updates: Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and CMMI Model Developments: While broader healthcare policy changes are reshaping the regulatory landscape, value-based strategy leaders need program-specific intelligence on CMS and CMMI developments that directly impact operational planning and performance. This session provides targeted updates on Medicare Advantage recovery trends and program changes, Medicaid policy shifts affecting population health investments, regulatory developments impacting system wide population health implementation, and CMMI's evolving approach to mandatory and voluntary payment models. Leaders will gain actionable insights to inform program participation decisions and optimize value-based care strategies.

  • Bending the Utilization Curve: Optimizing Appropriate Levels of Care in Value-Based Models: As value-based care models intensify focus on total cost of care management, health systems must develop innovative approaches to ensure patients receive the right level of care at the right time and setting. This session will explore how value-based strategy leaders are implementing new solutions to optimize utilization patterns while maintaining quality outcomes and supporting long-term population health objectives.
