Welcoming the Physician Leadership Program Class of 2023

The Health Management Academy is excited to announce the Physician Leadership Program (PLP) Class of 2023, which includes 35 aspiring physician leaders from leading health systems (LHS) across the country.

The PLP is a nine-month immersive program that prepares physicians for executive leadership at our nation’s LHS. Curriculum focuses on business acumen, diverse team management, executive presence, and the industry landscape, with retired health system C-suite executives and other healthcare experts leading seminars and workshops.

Since 2014, the program has trained the next generation of physician leaders and boasts a national network of more than 400 alumni.

The Health Management Academy would like to express appreciation to each participant’s health system physician mentor who nominated them for the program.
