New data from Modern Healthcare’s annual survey of healthcare construction firms shows that health systems are planning more construction projects focused on outpatient care and other long-term growth plays, continuing the recent trend. Interestingly, despite headwinds from high inflation, labor shortages, and material costs, 60% of respondents said that the healthcare construction industry is growing overall.
