The Early Career Women’s Group (ECWG)
The Early Career Women’s Group aims to bring together individuals who self-identify as a woman early in their career employed at The Health Management Academy to discuss overlapping professional/career challenges faced among their peer group and brainstorm solutions leveraging peer-developed resources and recommendations.
The ECWG ERG partners with The Health Management Academy teams and leadership to foster an inclusive environment where early career team members can thrive. Examples of the group's work include
Holding quarterly discussion-based sessions focused on themes requested by members through our annual survey
Creating opportunity to network through social events
Partnering with the People & Culture team to launch a mentorship program for early career staff members interested in expanding their mentor network

Navigating the workforce fresh out of school can be very intimidating, especially when you are operating in unfamiliar spaces. However, by working with my peers to start the ECWG, we’ve built a community where we can share and work through our pain points together, as well as celebrate our successes. It’s been incredibly powerful to watch this group come together and support one another.
