340B Update: Eli Lilly follows through on data ultimatum

Following through on an ultimatum it issued earlier this year, drugmaker Eli Lilly has cut off discount pricing for hospitals not complying with a new policy to hand over claims data for all dispensed 340B drugs. While the drugmaker says the data is needed to prevent duplicate discount claims, provider advocacy groups say the policy is illegal and will create substantial administrative burdens.
