  • On April 1, CMS released its final rate announcement for MA in CY2024, choosing to make no significant changes to the proposal in January that cut payers’ benchmark rate.

    • Overall, the agency anticipates an overall increase of 3.7% to MA payments, due primarily to an expected increase in risk scores which will offset their 0.2% decrease in benchmark payments.
